As more and more personal information can be assembled, the searching will
become more focused until the missing person is found.
Many searches stall for a lack of information and this is where a good Private
Investigator can help you. If you need a marriage search to check on a possible
name change, or a SSN search to locate the missing persons all-important SSN,
or a current address search from credit information, it can usually be located
on the powerful data bases that good Private Investigators have access to and
the costs to hire a Private eye have dropped considerably due to the strength
of todays computers.
What are the differences between an Information Broker or Private Investigator?
Information Brokers and Private Investigators both have huge data bases from
which to draw information, but the Info Brokers do not analyze the results of
any information. They simply provide you with raw data, leaving you to sort
through it.
If you have a good idea of what search stategy is right for your needs and you
have a good knowledge of public records, you can often order what you need
directly from the Info Brokers. On the otherhand, a Private Investigator knows
the ins and outs of information sources and search strategies. A Private
Investigator can often cut the time involved in your search down to one or two
days simply because a Private Investigator will not search unneccessary
information.
Let's say you need to find "JOHN DOE" in Los Angeles. You'll often times only
receive a list of names from an Information Broker. But when you tell a Private
Investigator that you need to find JOHN DOE, the Private Investigator will
search for the only one that you care to find by matching personal identifying
information.
